This last week Apple gave a major announcement about it’s iPod line and iTunes software. When looking at the Google News headlines all you see are articles about the new Zune player from Microsoft.

Although most of the articles focus on Zune’s unlikely chance to take a bite out of Apple’s iPod this Christmas season, I still have to tip my hat to Microsoft for making all the articles on the web about Zune this week instead of the new features of the iPod and iTunes. While I’m probably considered an Apple fan, you have to give credit where credit is due. Now hopefully in the long run this really won’t make an impact on Zune’s sales this Christmas.
